I used to love sliced bread......
While I as always enjoyed the show, I also wanted to share that I learned something new as well. I'd always figured that the various retired generals were somewhat biased, but I hadn't connected the dots between their FOX News and CNN gigs to their "retirement" jobs. Sadly, the ones that truly do have a good axe to grind don't really get much air time. What about all the generals that quit or were forced out because they disagreed with the Bush regime? I'd love to see more of them on the air.
But...... that reminds me that retired officers can still get in trouble if they say something that pisses the administration off, so only those who are planning to say things in line with the Administration's talking points are going to go on the air.......
Retired means STILL ON THE PENTAGON payroll! Plus, as Paul rightly points out, also on the payroll of defense contractors and lobbyists.
Thanks Paul.
Peace,
Craig
